Welcome to the Healing Community Hawaii
Sustainable living, outreach, community transformation, education and model farms
One life is worth rescuing…One heart is worth restoring.
Healing Community Hawaii is part of a recognized humanitarian non-profit The Healing Hearts Foundation 501(c) 3 which is dedicated in preventing human trafficking through education, awareness, and survivor support. At our training facility on the Big Island of Hawaii, we provide specialized awareness training designed to help communities recognize and respond to the realities and complexities of trafficking.
Our work begins with community engagement and public education to deepen understanding of the serious and multifaceted nature of human trafficking. In addition, we collaborate with private-sector partners—particularly within the tourism industry—to promote and implement best practices that help protect children and vulnerable individuals from exploitation.
Most people are unaware of how widespread child sex trafficking has become. With nearly one million trafficking cases reported each year, the danger is very real. We are committed to fighting this crisis on every front — working to locate and rescue trafficked children while also providing counseling, rehabilitation, and support services for survivors and their families.
